Bread...and photography? Yea, that may seem like a strange thing to talk about but we will never forget the time when we came across a post talking about self doubt within a photography business. The person talked about walking down the bread aisle at the grocery store. There are countless brands and types of bread, but they are still all bread. One doesn't decide to stop selling theirs just because there are SO many other companies out there...right?!..so why should you, as a photographer?
Photography is a passion that for some, like us, turns into a business. While businesses often start up solely with friend and family recommendations and referrals, we learn as we go how to advertise and promote our company. Is it easy, no. Is it always successful, of course not. Does it force us out of our comfort zones at times, absolutely. Will we stop just because we aren't always "chosen", never!
Ultimately we desire to stand out "in the bread aisle" by promoting what we stand for. This is what we want our clients to take away from their sessions, beyond the images.

Unless you know someone directly or have seen a recent shoot one of your friends or family just had done, we know it can be hard choosing a photographer. So often people turn to social media to ask for recommendations and they are immediately bombarded with 50+ tags and posts. It can be extremely overwhelming. How do you make that choice, like the bread? Is it the type, or in this case, style? Is it the cost? Is it the ingredients, aka, all that is offered within the session?

We always kid that our shoots will be painless! Ha. Clearly not everyone goes into a shoot with excitement but we have fun and provide an experience where you'll feel confident and comfortable, ultimately walking away feeling as if you just had an outing with a couple of friends.
