As many of you heard or saw, Whitman's Wish is now offering STUDIO sessions! And if you haven't seen us personally, just so you know, we are smiling from ear to ear to be able to finally offer this option!
While slightly ashamed that our last blog post was way back in the winter, when we talked about the beauty of all the seasons (still true), but oh how wonderful it would be to have a little studio space (also true), we are thrilled that we have successfully made that happen and that we are now getting to give you a glimpse into what we've been working on as well as what this means for you!
Whether new(er) to us and our company, or if you've been a part of our journey for awhile, we HAVE been able to be a part of so many milestones with our Whitman's Wish families, including parenthood. It has truly been a blessing and we have loved every opportunity we have had to capture those precious first moments, but we have struggled to formally advertise for these types of shoots, because of not having a designated space shoot in.
Let's just say there is a lot that goes into newborn photography including time and, of course, equipment.
While we have gone mobile many times, it does limit us on what we can bring (because trust me, when we have gone mobile, we have joked about us moving in because just the camera equipment alone is a lot). Plus, unless wanting a more life-style feel, we don't want any of our families to stress if they feel they lack space/lighting for shoots, or feel the need to clean up before we come.
We personally know the stresses of prepping beforehand for a baby as well as the beautiful chaos after said baby (or babies) come home, that all we have ever wanted was a space where you can come, sit back, relax (heck...nap if you want), and let us snuggle up on your precious bundle of joy as we capture moments with your teeny-tiny, sleepy baby! ...And now, having the backdrop area/set-up, if desired, we can incorporate parents and siblings with more ease too!
There is no need to be a part of set-up and clean-up. You don't have to worry about putting together outfits, props, wraps, etc...unless there is something special you'd like to incorporate, of course. Just come and enjoy the process.
If you've missed past posts, or just enjoy reminiscing like we do, here are a mere few of our favorites from past newborn shoots! We have also updated our website with more information so don't hesitate to take a look there, share it, and/or reach out with any questions you may have!
