We cannot believe that another school year is coming to a close already. Call us cheesy but we love seeing the first and last day of school comparison pictures that flood social media this time of year, and we most definitely torture our kids into taking them too! While only one of our two has completed the 2020-2021 school year thus far, we are already amazed at how quickly it went by. While it was still far from "normal," we are elated by how the schools handled the necessary changes to make this year possible!
Last year was truly difficult to witness seniors being cheated of their big celebrations and ceremonies. Twelve years of schooling is a HUGE achievement, in so many ways, and walking across that stage is like finishing up another chapter of life. This one, more emotional than most, because it's as if the graduate is closing the door of their childhood.
It's no surprise then, that senior sessions hit us emotionally, on whole other level, as we either remember our own pasts, think about our children's futures, or just merely feel the real and raw emotions of their parents wondering how it is possible that time went by so quickly.
This is such a special time in all of your lives!
